Hello, I’m Hanry Jafer, a passionate fly fishing enthusiast from Seattle, USA, with over three decades of experience in the pursuit of this captivating sport. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, my love for the outdoors was kindled at a young age, accompanying my family on fishing trips to the scenic rivers and lakes of Washington.
My journey into fly fishing began during one of these family outings, where the tranquility of the surroundings and the challenge of the sport left a lasting impression on me. However Eager to deepen my understanding, I immersed myself in literature, online forums, and sought guidance from seasoned anglers. Through years of dedication, I also earned recognition among the close-knit fly fishing community in the Pacific Northwest.
As the years unfolded, I also devoted countless hours perfecting my technique, exploring a variety of water bodies, and gaining insights into the behaviors of different fish species. However Fly fishing evolved for me beyond a mere hobby—it became a way of life, offering solace and a profound connection with nature. The friendships forged within the fly fishing community, along with the shared memories, however became an integral part of my journey.
Although retired now, my passion for fly fishing endures. Also I continue to explore the waters of the Pacific Northwest, eager to share my knowledge through this platform. Whether providing tips for beginners or guiding experienced anglers, my goal is to foster a deeper appreciation for the art of fly fishing.
